TECH BULLETINS

We get requests from time to time to publish the ASK MR MET bulletins on the website, but we resist doing this for two primary reasons. The first is that we are constantly updating the bulletins as we learn. The second, and I believe the most important, is when a member has a problem and requests help from the tech line; we follow up on being sure the problem is solved.

If we published the bulletins, and the member consulted the bulletins and that didn’t solve the problem, he or she would assume we were of no help. If you have had experience with other tech lines you will understand this frustration. Once we are contacted, we follow through, with phone calls if necessary, until the problem is solved. On all other club tech systems, it is almost impossible to talk to somebody in person. This is the beauty of our system.

This being said, we have compiled a set of Technical Bulletins, listed below, that are available to members, and individual bulletins can be obtained by contacting:-

Ask Mr Met

It is becoming harder every year to find a qualified mechanic to work on our older cars, and a top quality technical system is a must for a modern car club. Our advice is available to all members by Email, regular mail, or phone listed in the ASK MR MET column in the Met Gazette.
